On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Competition Corvette Club of Michigan proudly partnered
with the United Way of Genesee County in a heartfelt community service initiative that brought
together over 700 volunteers. This impactful event focused on assembling and packaging an
astounding 200,000 meals for distribution to community organizations dedicated to providing
food for families in need.
Once the assembly of the meals was complete, the Competition Corvette Club of Michigan was
honored to receive over 500 meals to distribute to local organizations we support across the
metro Detroit area. This opportunity allowed us to extend our commitment to helping those in
need right in our own community.
The day was not only about packaging meals; it was a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s
legacy of service, equality, and compassion. Being part of such a significant initiative reinforced
the vital role that community involvement plays in addressing food insecurity and uplifting those
who are struggling.
As we reflect on this rewarding experience, the Competition Corvette Club of Michigan is
grateful for the opportunity to contribute. We are inspired by the dedication of all the volunteers
who participated and look forward to continuing our efforts in supporting meaningful community
initiatives.
Together, we can drive change and make a lasting impact in the lives of others. Thank you to
everyone involved for making the MLK Day of Service a resounding success!
